STAY FIT WHEN TRAVELING

     Traveling can be a little tricky when it comes to eating. Over the years people asked me how do you eat healthy when traveling? Well, what I have learned from all these years being on the road is that a little prior planning , some Google search, and looking around for healthy alternatives is the key. Confused??? I will explain. :)

Before I leave my house for a modeling trip I pack my " snacks" (this trip was raw cashews , plain crackers, granola bar and banana .)  I just pack them in smaller bags so it's easy to travel. So this explain some o the PRIOR PLANNING.

The GOOGLE SEARCH part, if I have time waiting for my flight at the airport or as soon as I get to my destination I google map restaurants and supermarkets around me. These days most restaurants have their menu online so I can take a look for healthy options ahead of time. I know from my own experiences is that when hunger hits, the first place that has food (healthy or unhealthy) is the one I stop and eat.

Now you ask me what is the LOOKING AROUND is all about? As a frequent traveler I spend a lot of time at airports . I must say for the past couple years airports around the world are giving more options regarding healthy food for travelers . But still, you have to look around because the unhealthy food are always in front of you , beautiful displays with little nutrition and crazy high amount  of calories food and snacks. But there are always some healthy alternative, you just have to look for it.
